3 Spring Trends & Making Them Work

There are new fashion trends every season. Whether it's the baker boy hats for fall, and winter or the extremely slow return of fanny packs, there is something everyone is wearing.

Spring is only a few days away, and stores everywhere are stocking up in spring clothing, accessories, and shoes. There has also been a sudden surge in popular spring trends, let's be honest, it can be hard to have the confidence to rock some of these looks. But I think everything is worth a try!

1. Berets

Berets have been slowly coming into the wardrobes of fashion mavens, and celebrities alike. They give an outfit the perfect flirty touch.

If you're like me, you might be afraid of trying this trend out. My head is on the larger side which might make a beret look disproportionate.

Don't be afraid to go out to physically try these on. There are different colors, shapes, some lean to the left, some to the right, some lean backwards, they have studs, and rings. There is what seems like an endless amount of berets to suit your own personal style!

2. Blazer

There are plenty of colors, and prints to choose from, and style  in different ways that make them a different outfit every time.

You can wear your blazer with jeans for a more a casual look, or with dress pants for a more dressed up option. You can even wear your blazer as a dress if it's long enough!

3. Fanny Pack

"What is wrong with you?" You might be asking. But let me plead my case for a minute. I remember being the biggest fan of fanny packs in the early 2000s when my mom owned a black leather one. It wasn't her biggest accessory anymore, pretty sure the trend had passed, so it became one of my "play bags" as a kid.

That was one of the best play bags I'd ever known. Fanny packs are convenient in more ways than one. They've become a lot cuter than they used to be, they're less bulky, and more fashion forward. Yet they still manage to hold your essentials. I'm definitely into the return of the fanny pack, and I think anyone could pull one off with the right outfit.
