Pumpkin Carving

The leaves are changing from green to orange, red, and yellow. They are falling from the branches of the trees to the ground below us, making crunching sounds as we walk from place to place.
There is a chill in the air, and spook is all around as we prepare for another Halloween celebration.

I have never been a big fan of Halloween, I loved it as a kid, dressing up and parading around my school, I just grew out of it as I got older.
This year, however, I am in full blown Halloween spirit. I want to go to Haunted trails, and I want to watch scary movies, I want to eat candy, and go to Halloween parties, I want to dress up like I have never dressed up before!
BUT....most of that is going to have to wait.
So in the mean time, I think I'll just enjoy the beauty around me, and whatever spookiness I can get.

Believe it or not, I had never carved a pumpkin prior to this post. I've watched other people carve them, just never was interested enough to carve one myself!
This was finally the year that I took that official step, and went through with carving a pumpkin (and it was a workout).

Can you guess which pumpkin is mine?!
