One Direction - WWA Tour & Throwing Things

I was on vine yesterday, and I tweeted about this when I saw the vines..

It is pretty obvious that One Direction is the biggest band in the world at the moment, and of course that means that they have huge audiences..so huge that they've been on their own stadium tour for a few months now.

What I want to talk about is the disrespect in throwing things on the stage.
Of course (or at least I hope) people aren't throwing things on stage with a purpose to hurt the guys, any fan of an artist, or performer is going to want them to know them and have a little something that they once owned or that they purchased.

But it all has to do with what you throw on stage (personally, I don't think anything should be thrown on stage, they are humans ya know?) anyway, you could throw something soft that won't hurt anyone.

Don't go throwing things that will hurt the guys! Niall tweeted about it yesterday because he was hit on his bad knee that he got surgery on a few months ago..

And as you can see....he was limping around the stage :(

Harry was also hit, right in the face. Which I think is quite upsetting and disrespectful.

(Vines belong to 1Dxlusive Clips on Vine and the videos to the concert goer that filmed them)

This isn't the firs time that Harry is hit in the face or other painful areas.

I think that out of respect of the performers who are there, singing for you, you should be super awesome and not throw anything at them or on stage!

You don't want to hurt them if you love them so dearly, do you? So let's be amazing and limit what we throw on stage because it can lead to a painful and a bit embarrassing moment for the guys.

If you're going to Where We Are, enjoy! Remember not to throw stuff, pals!

Mockingjay Teaser

Oh my goodness..
I don't know about you, but I have been waiting for Mockingjay - Part 1 since the credits started rolling for Catching Fire.

By the looks of it, we'll be getting more and more clips and snippets in the following months from the upcoming movie that will make it the third of the Hunger Games trilogy (third but not last, since they've split the last book into two movies just like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn).

This little clip is one minute and thirteen seconds long and it gets you excited, nervous, a bit terrified and just..ahh..the fact that we have something, a little peek at the movie should make you a bit sweaty in itself! (OK maybe not sweaty but you get what I'm saying)

I won't tell you what to expect from this little clip, all I'll tell you about it is that President Snow is addressing the nation of Panem..I'll just let you watch it and react your own way...

Am I right to react the way I have?! Bit threatning and ominous at the end there, what do you think he means with "But if you resist the system, you starve yourself. If you fight against it, it is you who will bleed"? Katniss has questioned and resisted the system since she entered the arena for the first time in the Hunger Games, and she's begun an uproar. As you can see by the guest at President Snow's side...he (Snow) can have Katniss in the palm of his hand.

Oh dear, these following two films will definately have me on the edge of my seat, if you've read the books, you already know what to expect (although movies are quite different from books, but I mean we know events and outcomes). If you haven't read the books, don't worry about it! I'm sure you will also be on the edge of your seats, oh boy, you're in for a bumpy ride..

Let me know how excited you are to watch the first part of the grand finale of this marvelous story that has graced our eyes since March 2012.

love, J

Forever21, and Bath and Body Works Goodies!!!

This weekend I went to the mall and I treated myself to some nice little things.

I don't have a lot to go crazy with, so I do only get a little something every so often, I like going into Forever21 whenever I go to the mall because they usually have really cute things and they're usually inexpensive (or affordable...that doesn't mean the same thing...does it?).

I purchased this lovely pair of floral shorts, I had seen these pair a few weeks back but I was looking strictly for clothing for school activities and I just didn't have enough to sneak the shorts into my purchase, but I found myself feeling lucky yesterday..

I really like the print on these shorts, I think they would look really cute with a simple t-shirt and a pair of sandals or converse!

Something else I've been liking are these little bow like hair ties that you can tie around your ponytail or hair bun, I purchased one a few months back and I saw this pair at Forever21 and thought, well, why not?

I didn't put any other pictures because the angles were strange, and I mean, you can only take so many pictures of an item with little to work with (photography wise). Moving on, I really like these type of hair ties because you can use them whenever, of course, but they can be really useful in warm/hot weather. You can put your hair in a bun or you can make a ponytail and this little accessory adds the most adorable and simple touch to your hair!

The last two things I purchased were from Bath and Body Works. I had absolutely no idea that they had a sale (a HUGE sale might I add), they were selling things for 1/2 off and they had all sorts of deals, it was pretty cool. Since I wasn't looking to splurge, I got myself the pair of shower gel and body lotion called "Wild Citrus Sunflower". I really liked the scent, it's very fresh and summer-y and I thought it would be perfect to feel refreshed!

Not only was the scent very appealing to me, but the appearance was also very pretty, and quite lovely. So as you may or may not know, things at Bath and Body Works are quite pricey, but because of their sale, these two things which would have cost me $11.00 each, only cost me $3.00 each, woah mama that's a pretty hot deal if you ask me!

So those were the things I purchased over the weekend, did you do anything fun? Or even if you didn't, what did you do? Tell me, I promise I'll find it interesting either way.. :) -J

Emblem3 Share Some News.

If you're an Emblem3 fan, then I bet you've heard the news....(say it ain't so!)

You might remember that Emblem3 consists of Drew Chadwick, and Keaton and Wesley Stromberg. Well, that's not how this group runs anymore...mhm...the guys announced yesterday that Drew has decided to pursue his solo career, and he has left Emblem3.

Drew, Wes, and Keaton auditioned for The XFactor USA in 2012 and made it through to the live shows, performing with a clear passion that proved that they were in it to win it and weren't taking no for an answer, I also remember them really standing out from the other contestants with their cool Californian vibe.

They performed an original song, and really wowed the judges and anyone who watched their audition, it was clear that these three guys would break through to many and become a favorite.

If you've forgotten their audition, or you just wish you could watch it right now because I'm talking about it, then I have it for you right below, they went through boot camp, the judges homes, but went home in 4th place towards the end of the season..

Also, who could forget their first music video? And their return home to XFactor in 2013?

The guys themselves have said that this isn't the end! This is like...a new beginning, for all three of them, Keaton, Wesley, and Drew...along with all their "emblems".
I know how upsetting this is, I was very upset, and I still am now that I'm looking back at all these videos. Their audition and bootcamp and all the steps they took to get to where they are now.

But I know that everything will be okay. Everyone can continue to support all three of the guys fully and with all the love they have always given them and the effort they put in to making something beautiful for all their fans.

Drew has some exciting news on June 27th and Wesley and Keaton are kicking off their Fireside Story Sessions tour June 23rd in Pennsylvania! So many fun things are coming up, don't back away now because things are changing, Drew tweeting this picture yesterday:

And I couldn't agree anymore with that (I myself tweeted that picture on my twitter at the beginning of the year...strange...pretty cool too).

So don't let this get you way down, because the guys are working with this and they will be able to make it through for all their fans and so that they can continue to do what they love, and so should you!

Emblem3 isn't over...so your support shouldn't be either! :) Look forward! -J

#SKOC14 - Mohegan Sun Arena

I know that this post is quite late, I promised it for Monday and then I promised it for Tuesday and well...it's finally out today..on Wednesday. Sorry, it's been a busy two days and I haven't had much down time, but here we are now. I can finally sit and write this up and finalize the video I made (!!!!!!)
I recorded the performances and I put some bits together for you all, I edited and all that good stuff!

So, the concert was at Mohegan Sun and since it was a Summer Kickoff Concert hosted by a local radio station there were quite a few performers. The performers were in this order : Hot Chelle Rae, Cash Cash, MKTO, R5, B.O.B. and Austin Mahone. Cher Lloyd was originally on the list to perform but I'm assuming something went wrong or she wasn't able to make it and MKTO took her place. Okay so Each performer sang some of their more well known songs and then their super popular songs that everyone can recognize.

They all seriously brought it, they got the crowd going and they were sooo loud that you could feel the beat in your chest and it vibrated the ground and you could feel it from the soles of your feet to the tips of your fingers and the top of your head.

I am serious concert freak (who isn't?!) (well I guess that a lot of people might not like concerts...) anyyway, it was an awesome concert and I really enjoyed it, my seats were really good as wellll, you'll be able to see that in the video!

The floor seats weren't really seats, it was general admission, that's why everyone is standing and the back of the floor is so empty, because everyone was pushed up against the stage.

The video I made is down below, and none of the voices are me (it might be awkward when you head someone singing along and all that good stuff but I seriously promise it isn't me).

Check it out, thank you once again to Kiss 95.7 and all the artists who made this night possible for all of us!!

Oh, on an end note, I think it is absolutely adorable when there are little kids at a concert and they are there for one artist in particular, like the opening act or the person that is touring. This little boy was completely feeling the beat when Austin Mahone was performing, and it was obvious that he was a huge little Austin fan because he knew all the words to his older and new songs. Austin Mahone would say that this song was off his new EP and the little boy new every word to it. It was the most adorable thing...I also saw a little boy who was a big fan of Emblem3 at the Selena Gomez Concert back in October.

So now....I present you with this video that I made and caused me a little bit of frustration but I kept going and I did it! Enjoy.

Yay!!!!! -J

Alex & Sierra - Scarecrow

I've been a fan of these two since their audition on The XFactor, I mean..how can you not love them?! I thought they were super cute together and I LOVED their take on "Toxic" it was the most awesome audition I had seen all season, it was the only audition that I have ever seen on a singing competition that I loved from the very first moment all through out their time on the show and onto their career.

When they won I could not have been happier, they really deserved the victory, let's just take a trip down memory lane....

Well, I don't know about you but I just watched this for the first time since it happened live on XFactor (because I couldn't find it!!!!) and I actually teared up and got the shivers. It is one of the most amazing winner's performances I have ever seen....the blinding confetti, the hugs and tears, the support, the crying parents, the messed up lyrics, the giggles, they sang through it all and it was so touching and lovely.
I am proud to say that I have been a big fan of Alex and Sierra's since the beginning, and I still am as they release their first single (ahhhhh!!!!) their first lyric video, and soon...their own music video. Their new song is catchy and pretty and the lyric video is so cute (puppet siblings with Ed Sheeran?)
If you haven't checked it out, you should...because you'll fall in love with their love (Demi I stole that from you I'm sorry) and their songs, their charismatic way of being, and their genuineness.
Keep on being yourselves and being amazing people that so many people love and support. Love ya A&S :)

*claps excitedly for Alex & Sierra* -J

Summer 2014 Plans.

This title be a little misleading considering that this post won't necessarily be about my summer plans for myself, but plans for this blog over the summer.

So, I really am trying to amp up my game on this whole blogging thing because I would like it to get somewhere more, way past the label of "hobby" because I don't see this as just a hobby, I see it as something that I would like to do in more ways than just a pass time.

I hope that I will be having some sort of income this summer, which will open so many more doors for me involving this blog, it will help me get my own domain name without the 'blogspot' in between my webname and the big ol' DOT COM! So that would be step one, step two would be the layout, theme, and overall appearance of my blog. It does look SO lame, and sometimes it looks better than other times (I would like to think that my current appearance isn't all that shabby) I would be looking around and see what theme is pretty and well-rounded that can help me and my blog to appeal to the awesome people that happen to stumble onto my blog and maybe they'll like it enough to come back??!!!

The next step, CONTENT. I know my content is all over the place, and honestly, that's how I want it. My blog is called "Just Blog Along" for a reason, I want to be able to blog about anything and everything I want, ideas and thoughts, movies and books, food, concerts, celebrities, and maybe even some reviews here and there (like my post on Certain Dri).

I want to up my game though, I want to make my content so much better, I want people to read and like what they read and then decide they want to come back and who knows? Maybe some of them will decide to subscribe/follow?!

I've been reading advice from successful bloggers, and I see them as these awesome people who were just doing what they loved and talking about what they loved and they were able to get a positive response from it. I'm not doing this out of interest, I really want to put out my absolute best, I don't want a half way there job that will leave people unhappy with what I have given them. I want to be proud of what I am putting out.

So yes, that is what I want to achieve this summer. I am also going into college, so I feel like the change should come before I enter and transition to something new.

Who knows? Maybe I'll have some new experiences and things to do that might inspire a few posts?!

If you're taking exams, good luck.
If you graduated, CONGRATULATIONS! (woo class of 2014)
If you're on summer break, enjoy it and rock it.
And if none of the above apply to you, keep being an awesome human being.

See ya later! -J
